Membership Matters Session

Wednesday, June 9 at 1:00 p.m. ET

On Wednesday, June 9 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. ET, Harvard Club and SIG leaders are invited to join us for a volunteer education session where they will learn about the different membership structures available to clubs and SIGs (dues, dues-free, hybrid) and how a chosen framework may benefit the needs of its alumni community. Through this session, you will hear about two specific examples and have the opportunity to chat with fellow volunteers regarding how our virtual environment this past year has evolved our thinking around membership engagement.

Speakers include: Yun Boylston AB ‘00, Regional Director of the Carolinas; Marco Cianflone AB ‘13, Harvard Club of Quebec; Emily Van Dyke AB ‘03, MPH ‘09, Native American Alumni of Harvard; Rhys Williams AB ‘87, Regional Director of Central and Eastern Florida & Puerto Rico

Register here!

Prior to the event, we encourage you to read through this membership model overview resource on the Officer’s Longe on the different membership frameworks available to clubs and SIGs.

While we’re unable to convene in person for the Alumni Leadership Conference and International Leadership Workshop this year, HAA Club and Shared Interest Group leaders and Contacts will gather remotely throughout the year to share best practices and hear from University leaders – no travel required! Please note this event is reserved for Club and Share Interest Group leaders. Click here for other upcoming opportunities to learn with and from your fellow alumni volunteer leaders.
