The Shared Interest Group (SIG) Showcase is an opportunity for SIGs to meet with interested alumni and share the mission and goals of the organization. This event is marketed to all alumni, who can sign-up for as many showcases as they’d like to attend. This event will take place on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.
How to Participate
SIGs will manage and collect their own registrations for this event, as well as host the event on their own virtual event platform. We would recommend holding your event for up to 1 hour on November 3 during a time zone that works best for you. You may record your event so that you can share out with registrants who are unable to attend.
Please register your event here. Marketing for SIG Showcase is already underway, but your SIG can still sign up to be part of future marketing plans for the event! The HAA will publicize all SIG Showcase events on the HAA website.
We will be holding a SIG Showcase walk-through for SIG leaders on Wednesday, October 20 from 1:00-2:00pm ET via Zoom. This walk-through will provide some guiding questions for you to consider as you run your session and basic tips on running a successful Zoom meeting.
For SIGs with AlumniMagnet websites, when you post your event on your own website, it will load automatically to the HAA website as well. In the event title, please include the name of the SIG, so that alumni can easily identify which SIG is hosting. Please post your event by Tuesday, September 7 to be included in the marketing.
For SIGs without AlumniMagnet websites, we are happy to post your event on the HAA website.
