BREAK
Friday, June 3, is Alumni Day! Harvard alumni are invited to participate in this University-wide, global event honoring alumni impact, citizenship, and community. This alumni celebration will be held on Harvard’s campus and simultaneously live streamed for those who cannot attend in person. The time-honored and festive alumni parade led by the eldest alumni into Tercentenary Theatre kicks off at 1:30 p.m. (ET). This will be followed by a speaking program beginning at 2:30, which will be led by Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) president Vanessa W. Liu AB ’96, JD ’03, and including Alumni Day featured speaker Tracy K. Smith AB ’94, remarks from President Lawrence S. Bacow JD ’76, MPP ’76, PhD ’78, and a celebration of Harvard Medalists, along with musical components and recognition of the chief marshal of alumni.
Clubs and SIGs are invited to host their own local Alumni Day celebrations on or around June 3, which can be timed to enjoy the livestream together, replay it asynchronously at a time that works in your corner of the world, or simply celebrate as a local community. Resources and tips to help make your Alumni Day celebration a memorable one will be available shortly.
