Harvard Alumni Day Local Celebration

All Harvard alumni are invited to participate in this annual University-wide, global event honoring alumni impact, citizenship, and community. This alumni celebration is held in Harvard Yard each spring and simultaneously live streamed for those who cannot attend in person. Clubs and SIGs are encouraged to host Local Celebrations for their communities in partnership with the events on Harvard’s campus. The on-campus alumni gathering will feature the traditional alumni parade, a speaking program with special guests, and a Yard party with games, food trucks, and more.
Clubs and SIGs interested in hosting their own local Alumni Day celebrations on or around Friday, May 31, 2024 can register by May 17, 2024 to be included on the local alumni celebration event page. Local celebrations can be timed to enjoy the livestream together, replay it asynchronously at a time that works in your corner of the world. These events can be as simple as an alumni hike or as involved as a program during an annual dinner.
A promotional toolkit – containing gifs, logos, images, banners, and social media captions – is available for download and will help make your Alumni Day celebration a memorable one! When posting on social media, don't forget to tag @harvardalumni accounts and use our hashtags #HarvardAlumniDay and #HomeToHarvard.
