Harvard Alumni Day Local Celebrations
BREAK
Hosted by the HAA, Harvard Alumni Day (HAD) is a day for and in celebration of Harvard's vibrant, global alumni community. This annual event is a time of joy, nostalgia, and connection—celebrating alumni communities across all Harvard Schools and around the globe. This alumni celebration is held in Harvard Yard each spring and simultaneously live streamed for those who cannot attend in person.
Clubs and Harvard Alumni Contacts are encouraged to host Local Celebrations for their communities in partnership with the events on Harvard’s campus. The on-campus alumni gathering will feature the traditional alumni parade, a speaking program with special guests, and a Yard party with games, food trucks, and more. Local Celebrations bring the energy and spirit of HAD to communities around the world through in-person and virtual gatherings each year.
Clubs and Harvard Alumni Contacts interested in hosting their own HAD Local Celebrations on or around Friday, June 6, 2025 (end of May-end of June) can register by Friday, May 30, 2025 to be included on the HAD Local Celebrations event page. Local celebrations can be timed to enjoy the livestream together, replay it asynchronously at a time that works in your corner of the world. These events can be as simple as an alumni hike or as involved as a program during an annual dinner.
A HAD promotional toolkit – containing gifs, logos, images, banners, and social media captions – is available for download and will help make your Alumni Day celebration a memorable one! When posting on social media, don't forget to tag @harvardalumni accounts and use our hashtag #HarvardAlumniDay!
