Harvard Alumni Day Local Celebration
Register by Friday, May 26 to host an Alumni Day celebration in 2023
BREAK
Friday, June 2, is Alumni Day! Harvard alumni are invited to participate in this University-wide, global event honoring alumni impact, citizenship, and community. This alumni celebration will be held on Harvard’s campus and simultaneously live streamed for those who cannot attend in person. The time-honored and festive alumni parade led by the eldest alumni into Tercentenary Theatre kicks off at 11:00 p.m. ET. This will be followed by a speaking program beginning at 11:45 a.m. ET, which will be led by Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) president Allyson Mendenhall AB ’90, MLA ’99, and including Alumni Day featured speaker TBA, remarks from President Lawrence S. Bacow JD ’76, MPP ’76, PhD ’78, and a celebration of the 2023 Harvard Medalists. The Main Program will be immediately followed by a Yard Party at 1:00 p.m. ET with food and beverage trucks, featuring local favorites like Pinocchio's Pizza and El Jefe's.
Clubs and SIGs are invited to host their own local Alumni Day celebrations on or around June 2, which can be timed to enjoy the livestream together, replay it asynchronously at a time that works in your corner of the world, or simply celebrate Alumni as a local community. A Promotional Toolkit to help make your Alumni Day celebration a memorable one can be found here.
