As the year comes to a close, we’re filled with appreciation for your leadership and dedication to your Harvard alumni communities. Thank you for all that you do to strengthen and impact this global network.

The University will be closed for winter recess from Friday, December 22 through Monday, January 1. Phones and emails will not be monitored during the recess as the team takes time off to recharge and enjoy the holiday season. Prior to the break, please be in touch should you need guidance or support ahead of the new year.

We look forward to your continued partnership and a new year of connections.

Clubs and SIGs are all about positive connections! Reinforce a healthy and inclusive environment by setting community values and norms with both your volunteer team and community members. Reference resources on difficult conversations, community expectations, and inclusion. We encourage you to incorporate similar language into your governance documents and communications.

Network with Alumni Worldwide

Gather your community for a series of informal networking events held on the same day around the world! Global Networking Night takes place on March 13. Clubs, Contacts, and Professional SIGs are invited to host local events, and all SIGs are invited to partner to support the event. Don’t miss the fun – register by January 25!

HAA Club and SIG Awards winners holding certificates

Have an overachiever in your Club or SIG? Nominate an Outstanding Alumni Community or an Outstanding Volunteer Leader for the HAA Club and SIG Awards. The deadline for nominations is June 7 – it’s never too early to submit! Awards will be presented at the 2024 Alumni Leadership Conference.
