Greetings!

Mark your calendars! The 2025 Alumni Leadership Conference (ALC) will take place on October 22 and 23 on Harvard's campus with specific conference locations in Cambridge and/or Boston forthcoming. ALC brings together Club and SIG leaders from across the globe to share best practices, success stories and challenges. It’s a fantastic opportunity to create connections with fellow volunteers and make new friends! Registration will launch in July.

Last month, Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) Directors gathered virtually for the winter Board Meeting which featured updates from the HAA and opportunities to connect with fellow Club and SIG Directors on best practices and idea sharing. Reach out to your Club or SIG cohort Director for information from the sessions.

Harvard Alumni Day – SIG Meetups and Local Celebrations

Join us in celebrating alumni impact, citizenship, and community at the annual Harvard Alumni Day! On-campus celebrations will take place on June 6. We encourage our Harvard Club, SIG, and Contact communities to celebrate with us. Interested in participating? Choose from the options below:

SIG Meetups: Host a SIG Meetup on campus to connect with your SIG community and recruit new members! SIG Meetups will take place on June 6 from 3:00–5:00 p.m. (ET). Register by April 16.

Local Celebrations: Clubs and Contacts can host an event in their region to celebrate Alumni Day across the globe. Local celebrations can take place on June 6 or throughout the weeks around this date. Registration to host a local celebration opens in April.

Harvard 2025 Elections Begin April

This spring, Harvard degree holders will have the opportunity to vote online or by paper ballot for new members of the Harvard Board of Overseers and elected directors of the Harvard Alumni Association. The election begins April 1, and completed ballots will be accepted until 5 p.m. ET on May 20. View the 2025 slate of candidates.

Welcome 2025 Incoming Students Arriving in Cambridge!

Welcome new students to the Harvard community. This summer, Clubs and Contacts can host a welcoming event for incoming students from all Harvard schools. Visit Officers Lounge for resources and information on these community-building events. Register by May 2 to participate.

Celebrate Alumni Leadership with the 2025 HAA Clubs and SIGs Awards

Help us honor the exceptional contributions of our Clubs, SIGs, and remarkable volunteer leaders through the HAA Clubs and SIGs Awards. Nominate a deserving Outstanding Alumni Community or Outstanding Volunteer Leader by June 13. Winners will be announced at the 2025 Alumni Leadership Conference on campus.

This February, the HAA held A Conversation with Alan Garber in Miami. Over 200 alumni attended the event cosponsored by the Harvard Clubs of Miami, Broward County, and the Palm Beaches.

This winter, the Scottish Chapter of the Harvard Club of the United Kingdom hosted its first-ever Burns Supper at the historic Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. This rich cultural evening brought together alumni and guests from across Scotland and beyond!
