July is a time of exciting transitions across many Clubs and SIGs, as well as within the HAA Board of Directors, which continues to play a vital role in supporting our global alumni community.

Several Club and SIG cohorts are welcoming new HAA Directors this year. Club and SIG presidents receiving a new Director were notified by email. Your HAA Directors are here to support your organization’s growth and help spark connection, communication, and collaboration across your cohort. Participate in Welcome to Your City

Welcome to Your City (WTYC) offers recent Harvard graduates (up to 10 years out) a meaningful opportunity to connect with their local alumni community.

Clubs with 2,000+ alumni are invited to sign up to host a WTYC event by August 7. Invitations to participate, including sign-ups for WTYC info sessions, will be sent to eligible Clubs next week.

Has your Club or SIG recently welcomed new leadership? Complete the Volunteer Leadership Form (VLF) to update your Board information.

Keeping your leadership roster current ensures new volunteers receive important communications from the HAA Clubs and SIGs team and stay informed about HAA-supported programs, resources, and opportunities.

Join us on Harvard’s Cambridge-Allston campus for ALC on October 21–22.

Wednesday, October 21: 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
(Registration opens at 9:00 a.m.)
Thursday, October 22: 9:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
(Registration opens at 8:30 a.m.)

Club and SIG presidents should begin identifying the two representatives they would like to attend ALC. Registration launches late July 2026.

Clubs & SIGs Spotlight

Club and SIG Directors gathered on campus at the Spring HAA Board Meeting in June. Our deepest gratitude to the outgoing Directors for their outstanding service and commitment to the HAA network: Joseph Barretto AB ’97, Chuck Bergen AB ’77, JD ’81, Duval Guimaraes MPP ’13, Shawn Hainsworth AB ’88, Kenneth Lee AB ’89, MBA ’94, James Marino AB ’91, Carrie Roy AB ’02, Tom Saar MBA ’87, Sajida Shroff EDM ’95.

At the Harvard Club of Southern California’s annual meeting, the Club bestowed the John Harvard Award and the Club’s Educator of the Year Award, installed new board members, and recognized alumni who have contributed to their vibrant community.
