How many administrators can work on the website?
You can have as many administrators as you think you will need to manage the various aspects of the site including sending emails, moderating forums, adding content, etc.
However, the HAA will work with two Head Administrators. The Head administrators are the only two people who are by contract (PGP) authorized to be able to give us instructions/requests on behalf of your Club or SIG. This is to streamline the communication and prioritization of tasks. The two head administrators will be permitted to escalate issues to the HAA Team through the Support Tracker.
They are responsible for:
- Being the first line of defense for any questions/issues that your other administrators or users might have.....and then escalating up to us via Support Tracker anything that they (the HA) can't handle. We'll then work with the HA to resolve the issue, and they will communicate/deliver the solution back to the person(s) originally involved.
- Ensuring that whenever new admin privileges are given out to additional staff/volunteers/officers, these new people go through the relevant training videos and articles for the privilege(s) they have been given. AlumniMagnet has a lot of features and capabilities. If someone hasn't gone through the training and starts to use the site's admin controls, it's possible for them to do damage to your site and/or your user data and/or your transaction data.
