2013 Alumni Leadership Conference
STIMULATING CURIOSITY:
The Role of Clubs and SIGs in the Lifelong Harvard Experience

We invite you to join fellow HAA leaders
from around the world in Cambridge, MA
on January 31 & February 1.

In addition to alumni-led panels, we are delighted that this year’s conference will feature:

Alan M. Garber, Provost; Mallinckrodt Professor of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School; Professor of Economics in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences; Professor of Public Policy in the Harvard Kennedy School of Government

Steven Pinker, Johnstone Family Professor of Psychology, Harvard University

Aside from learning from the fantastic speakers listed above, you will also have the opportunity to:


1. Develop new strategies for energizing your Club/SIG. Topics covered this year include using technology and data to build a more effective organization, strategies for inspiring students to consider Harvard, partnering with other organizations to reach a wider audience, rebuilding a board to spark a dormant Club/SIG, and successful examples of making the case for relevancy for your organization.
2. Share what you have learned with other Clubs/SIGs. There will be numerous opportunities, including some new non-traditional sessions (think Human Bingo and Quickfire!), for alumni leaders to engage with one another and share ideas.
3. Reconnect with Harvard, re-immerse yourself in academic discourse. Become a student again and learn about what is happening at the University; the keynote speakers will be sure to inspire!
4. Meet extraordinary people. This conference typically brings together over 175 alumni leaders, resulting in a room full of amazing talent and energy. Come be a part of the experience. 
5. Have fun. In addition to learning, sharing, reconnecting, and meeting fellow Club/SIG leaders, the ALC provides countless opportunities to network, think, and laugh.
