Greetings!
As we welcome the spring season here in Cambridge, we have several important updates and reminders we'd like to share with you.
Firstly, we kindly request your participation in completing the Annual Report survey by May 19. A requirement for all Clubs and Shared Interest Groups (SIGs), the data collected from this survey will serve as a key benchmark and will help shape the resources, programs, and benefits we can offer to our entire network. An email to complete the Annual Report survey was sent to all Club and SIG presidents, vice presidents, treasurers, and secretaries on April 9.
Next, we encourage you to review the Alumni Affairs & Development and Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) Inclusion Guidelines. These guidelines clearly define our expectations for all organizations to maintain inclusivity at events and within membership. They emphasize the importance of non-discrimination and accountability for behavior, all in an effort to ensure the safety and well-being of every member of our community.
Attention to all presidents and treasurers: please be on the lookout for the updated Operating Agreement and Volunteer Confidentiality Agreement, which will be sent out on April 18. We request all Clubs and SIGs to sign these agreements.
- The Operating Agreement outlines governance, operational, and engagement standards to help ensure the effective operation of Clubs and SIGs.
- The Volunteer Confidentiality Agreement is designed to ensure that all volunteers understand and commit to maintaining the confidentiality of any non-public information accessed during their volunteer activities.
Lastly, don't forget to scroll down to check out the Spotlight section! Here, you'll find an update on this year's successful Global Networking Night (GNN), including a link to the photo album.

Good news! Harvard recently extended its newly upgraded email forwarding system to Clubs and SIGs, allowing for:
- A significant reduction in bounced emails, spam, and phishing inquiries.
- The ability to onboard additional Clubs and SIGs to the email forwarding platform.
We hope that your organization enjoys this improved service!
