Alumni Leadership Conference 2023
The HAA was pleased to host the 2023 Alumni Leadership Conference (ALC) on October 26-27 in Cambridge, MA. The conference brought together Harvard Alumni Association (HAA) Club and Shared Interest Group (SIG) leaders and Contacts from around the world to share wisdom, gain insight, and connect with one another and to resources on campus. In addition, the HAA was honored to present the Club and Shared Interest Group Outstanding Volunteer Leadership and Outstanding Alumni Community Awards.

Crafting Community Connections with Engagement Marketing and Communications

Learn the importance of establishing strategic marketing goals and asking the right questions when creating engaging content. In addition to learning about best practices to get your audiences involved from the HAA’s Engagement Marketing and Communications team, you’ll have the opportunity to hear real examples from Clubs and SIGs during a panel discussion.

Peer Community Collaboration
We will broke out into three working groups based on the size of your alumni community to share successes and challenges while exploring some of the common themes illustrated in this year’s Annual Report.

Step-Back Consulting

In this highly interactive workshop, a Club or SIG will present a challenge they are facing, or an idea they are exploring and then will “step back” as the group in the room discusses possible solutions. We call this format “Step-Back Consulting” as it provides a fun and valuable way for each organization to find solutions to issues by hearing how others are tackling similar challenges.
